This place is the standby lunch place for my family on the first day of our yearly family reunion. The food is ok, but nothing special (lots of fried seafood on the menu, some of it pretty decent, some of it kind of lackluster). Best part about the upper deck is sitting up there when there's a nice breeze and watching boats go by on the ICW while sipping on a nice cold beer. Drinks are weak and not made fantastically, so I'd stick with the beer if I were you when there. They re-did the menu this year, so there are more options than in previous years. Will be back next year (partially because it's one of the only restaurants this far up the island, where the house we rent is located). Not a strong recommendation, but I wouldn't steer you away from it if you're looking for beach bar food and like to watch boats while having a beer or two with some friends.
The food was just okay. The crab dip appetizer was good but the burger wasn't. The service was very good and our waitress was very friendly. This place would be good to take kids for an easy meal and is also dog friendly (there were 2 large dogs at the table next to us which they gave a water bowl to).
